Lockdown Session 4
For this tribute, the rapid decline of our lockdown economy immediately directed us to ‘Grinding Halt’. MeanMan of York jumped at the opportunity to play a song by The Cure. Heck, we bought a guitar with every one of their songs built in. The search for a song did not take long, but proves to be a perfect fit for our lockdown sessions playlist. We need to slow down and develop a response to prevent a complete stop.
This project continues to be driven by our desire to always find a way to do what makes us happy. Right now, it is recording tributes to the songs we have carried through life and suddenly provides clearer meaning to us.

Our work is usually conducted in the same room, but with the lockdown we have been deprived this luxury. However, we are playing the hand we have been dealt. Each member is leveraging our personal studio to record our tracks remotely and pass them on to yield these finished recordings of Songs For Lockdown. I hope you enjoy them.
Stay well
