If your idea of a perfect Saturday night includes crushing riffs, melodic hooks, and discovering the next great local band before everyone else does, David’s Outlook in Hanover has you covered on August 22. This all-ages showcase brings together four bands from Pennsylvania and Maryland for an evening of loud, passionate, grassroots rock and roll.
Headlining the night is MeanMan ofYork, joined by local favorites Twist & Writhe, Maryland-based rising force Mach Four, and the live debut of Witherstone.
MeanMan ofYork Returns to Hanover

MeanMan ofYork (MMoY) are making their way back to Hanover to heat up David’s Outlook, one of the region’s premier DIY venues for underground rock music. Known for their eclectic blend of heavy rock, the band is preparing for their appearance at the inaugural Martyr Fest this October and plans to unleash a seven-song set packed with energy and unpredictability.
The band recently released a rehearsal recording that offers a glimpse into the mind-melting performance fans can expect on August 22.

Twist & Writhe Bring Emotional Firepower
Keeping the momentum rolling is Twist & Writhe, a band whose emotional and edgy sound combines weaving guitar melodies, a rock-solid rhythm section, and heartfelt vocals. Fans of Sorry Mom and Forgot to Take Out the Trash will feel right at home.

Mach Four Crosses the Mason-Dixon Line

Hailing from Baltimore and Perry Hall, Maryland, Mach Four is a young four-piece forging its own take on blues-based metal. Combining heavy grooves with classic influences, the band’s sound balances aggression and musicianship in equal measure.
This August, they’re bringing their hard-hitting live show north of the Mason-Dixon Line and into Hanover for what promises to be a memorable regional debut.

Don’t Miss Witherstone’s Live Debut

Opening the night is Witherstone, an up-and-coming band from the York and Hanover music scene making its highly anticipated live debut.
Drawing obvious influence from the early days of grunge, Witherstone channels the raw spirit of the genre while adding its own local flavor. If you’re nostalgic for the era when loud guitars ruled alternative radio and Polly wanted a cracker, you’ll want to get there early for this one.
